Buddha's B-day!

I'll be doing some "work" on the climbing guide at Daedunsan on Friday. Anyone care to join me at the sport crags? It's an easy jaunt from Jeon-buk and Daejeon, and the routes range from beginner to expert.

hey sonia, what kind of sport crags have you got down in daejeon?

Matt and I, maybe more (I'll talk to Amber at the gym tonight) were going to get a 9:00 bus from Jeonju, putting us at the main entrance about 10. We'll head here (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climbing/areas.php?area_id=225&q=area_park%3D33%26sort%3Dname%26), which is really close to here (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/climbing/areas.php?area_id=293&q=area_park%3D33%26) and another sport-crag (the 3 are minutes away).

I promised my Sherpa a mega-vegan feast-- though if more come, maybe we can make it potluck. I just got an oven (haven't tried it yet!) and bunches of goodies in Seoul at the foreign market. So basically, there are easy to way-to-hard-for-me climbs in a beautiful park at an off-the-beaten path site that rarely sees crowds (never in the 5 or so times I've been there).

Mr. P, you'd be welcome to crash in Jeonju and help me cook for Sat's trip back down further south.

Mmmm....vegan food. You know i love it:) I think that a day trip would be a bit to hard all the way up there. I am going to stay a bit more local. super bummed that I missed out on the sign up for volunteering on the initiative. Been to the pokpo two weekends in a row. Love the place and would have been down to help fix it up. Also would have worked out with me traveling with you sonia. You and matt should make a trip down this way or some other way all together so we can link up soon. Miss ya'll

Tim, and we'll miss you-- looks like a "Jeonju-ites" holiday, which is nice. . . but totally understand that this would be a super-haul for you. maybe next weekend-- Daegu (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/forums/t2600-may-2830-waegwan-and-daegu.html)? much easier to get to!
