How about a Halloween Weekend get-together/meet-and-greet/party? Would folks be willing to meet in Daejon? There's climbing near-by, and that would be convenient for Eric (and fairly central while still close to Seoul). . . I think he's well due the beers, and we'll only keep him away from the computer 2 days max. We could stake out a cchimchilbang and make it a slumber party. . . costumes optional?
Input? RSVP?
hey sonia and everyone,
personally, halloween weekend is not good for me. i will be playing in an ultimate tournament.
also, i wonder if many people might already have plans and, um, recoveries to attend and tend to, respectively.
I would like to put in my vote for the following weekend if that's cool with you. If the halloween weekend is better for everyone else, then I will try to meet up with everyone after my tournament.
What do you think?

don't want to foul your plans; i would love to be able to join the meet & greet but won't be able to attend until after Nov. 10th. after that i'm home free!
plan what you can though...

Hey-- there were no plans. . . this is the first I mentioned. . . just to put something out there to celebrate the new site and the weather! There are definitely many options, including the following weekend. (Sorry Rick, but I see you enough, and I'll need something to do when you're in Mexico, and, as my most reliable and up-for-anything partner, I would prefer you don't meet too many other people and start heading for Kan-hyon every week!)
So OK, how about the following weekend, the 6th and 7th? (Maybe I could change the thread name!!)
I'm up for anything after the halloween weekend. Preferrably outside of Daejeon because, well, the climbing is better outside of daejeon. I'd be into seonunsan, ganyhyeon or yeongyeong.

ps: ricardo - i know, i uploaded 100+ smilies and still no "cheers" or "beer" smilie. :( I wanted to use the "tea" smilie in place of beer but i don't like my beer steaming... I will have to find a drinking only set of smilies! :D
