I know this was started somewhere already, but here it is again as I couldn't finds it even! Bugger!
Post here those with car-space and looking to bus/ train with others (please help out new to Korea type folks!!). Also look at the Korea Travel link on the forums page, left toolbar link - it has lots of beta!
I have a car. Her name is "Rock-sea" I will be departing Daejeon in Central Korea on Friday arvo (about 2pm or so) and getting to Seonunsan sometime about 5pm (or so). KA and I can maybe squueze in 2 or three folks, depending on how much gear you'll/ we'll be taking. We are camping too. I know that another 2 KOTRers (Lindsay and Brendan) also have a car and will be coming down also...so maybe if you miss us, you can ride with them...I dunno.
Jason from Sokcho has also offered lifts in his car as he works his way south, and I dare say many others will too.
Bus timetables are easily accessed on the web (that link I said) or call the travel info line number (what is it? I forget but it is damn good service in ENGLISH! please post it someone).

CAR RAMROD

Does anybody want to be in the the Great Gangown-do Rent-a-car gang?
There's three of us already, so room for two more. I'll hopefully be leaving Chuncheon before 6pm on Friday night, stopping off in Wonju to pick up some peeps about 7ish, then heading to Seonunsan.

I reckon with petrol (that's gas to the ingrates) and rental, everything should cost less than 200,000. If we can get five people, that works out at .... errr.... hold on.... err.... I can work this out.... errr.... 40,000 each.

Anybody who signs up, must observe these rules:

1. The car shall be referred to as Car Ramrod at all times.
2. We listen to Hard House and German Techno all the way.
3. No American terms for car parts are to be used.
