Just posted some info for the new gym in Seoul. If you go to the grand opening on the 15th you can check out the facilities, maybe climb a bit, eat some food, and get 20% off membership fees. Someone was asking about this place earlier but I can't seem to find that old post. Anyway, here is your answer.

Ropes are probably free. Harness shouldn't be more than 5,000 won. I think thats what the old gym charged.
But for 20,000 won a day I bet that includes everything. But I dont know. Just guessing
Looks awesome! I might have to re-locate to a nearer neighborhood....
The drop-in rates and hours as mentioned in BT's link above start in November. For now, the gym closes around 8 and admission is given only for those who have already purchased membership for november. But for them, it is free for the rest of october. Funky.

I visited the facility when TLayne was there. VERY NICE. Will definitely go this week to climb! The bouldering area looks great also.

Is that really what they told you
I've been climbing there since Oct. 15th... For free
No one could buy memberships until this month (nov) because of paperwork and issues with the credit card machine. So NO ONE has or had a membership. Until they get their **** strait, anyone can use the climbing gym including the 7th floor wieght room, shower, sauna for free.
If they tell you otherwise they are ******* lieing. Like I said i've been going there since the 15th and havent paid anything or bought any membership.
The climbing gym employee "Kim" is a **** sucker so I wouldnt be surprised if he was the one you talked to.
I'm curious about what you're basing that on.
