Greetings,

We're planning a trip to Isubong in the next few weeks and It says in the info about that venue on this site... "you must have a special permission(heorakseo) form from any Korean climbing club in order to camp legally".

I was just wondering if anyone has been down the heorakseo road before. Does it have to be a rock climbing club? or can I ask a member of a hiking club? Assuming I pronounce it properly, will they know what I'm talking about?

If anyone has any information or advice to share on the subject, it'd be much appreciated over here

Dennis

Hiking clubs are not the same as climbing clubs here. The camping area up at Insubong is strictly for climbers. The only way to get one of these permission forms is from a climbing club. Good Luck!
