Hello everyone! First post: been lurking! lots of cool people here!
nice to meet you all!
About me: I'm a Korean American guy living around Bomkye line #4.....
I've been in Korea for a while, Korean is decent...
I really love adventure sports. I've done some climbing before, not too much, top roping and some bouldering, some ice climbing, and but plenty of hiking and even some winter ascents.

Going to make fall my climbing season... So hope to go into it full force.
The climbs I want to do are more oriented towards mountaineering, so looking ahead and looking forward to that too. I don't mind going to the gyms to learn the techniques but competitive climbs and ratings don't interest me at all. -_- Although of course, if you think it's necessary for my training, I'll eagerly learn all the stuff.

I'm looking for an experienced climber (maybe from the states) that can "show me the ropes" ie good gear, the places, techniques:
multi-pitch and lead climbing stuff.... and hopefully when winter comes ice!!

We could maybe meet up about once a week, do some climbing, etc etc maybe even work out together or even other adventue sports together.

I will compensate you for your time ^^ Lunch/dinner on me and if you require a reasonable fee, we could work something out!
I just ask that you know what you're doing.
my email is anyangtiger@gmail.com
please tell me about yourself and your climbing experience!

It'll be great to meet you!
Thanks
Alex

Hey Alex,

Name's Bryan. I live down in Daegu, so won't be able to help much on day to day basis. I have 11 years experience rock climbing as well as 8 years of mountaineering experience in North America, South America, Patagonia and Asia. Ice, alpine, rock...it's all alot of fun and your making a wise choice on your selection of "hobbies!"

I'll be heading to Pakistan this year to climb two 8000m peaks, but this will be the first time I'll be training in Korea. I've always trained and lived in Colorado, so I'm looking for partners to suffer with. Korea has some snow alternatives in the winter, but right now I'm looking at long weekends, with loads of hiking and loads of pitches.

Most days will involve climbing and start or end with a long hike, so if your up for a bit of travel, fun and of course suffering, over the next few months, please let me know.

Bryan
