Area where you can even climb in the rain?

I'm afraid my summer vacation at the end of July will be rained out. I'm wondering if anyone knows any sport area in Korea, where one could even climb during the rain.

I've searched a good deal on this site, and the only thing that seems probably would be the wind tunnel cave at soksai. Any locals to the area have any feedback on that? Any other advice. I'm looking for .11a to .12b-ish.

Thanks for any help, also anyone who'd like to join. I'm planning for the last week of July.

I think the tunnel at SokSal will be your best choice. It stays pretty dry in there and I think there are plenty of climbs in that range. I think the climbs start in the 10s and go up from there.

Oh and this is rainy season not Typhoon season.
So you can expect, two or three days of rain, followed by up to four days of mug, fug (sweaty hot weather).
In the typhoon season, end of summerish, you will experience rain going every which way. Typhoons two or three of them will grace us, but their arrival is unknown.

Time things right and you get to climb in the fug, when you wish it would just hurry up and rain.
But even in the rain, easier ridge climbing it fun, dangerous, but easily possible.
When a typhoon hits, stay in doors and lock up the chickens.

thanks for the beta. The opera house and wind tunnel are close enough to check out both in 8 days.

I'll be sure lock up the chickes if a typhoon comes hahaha.

Note about opera house. I've been climbing there in the rain and wind for an entire weekend and while yes most of it does stay dry, rain does tend to blow into the belay stations a bit and the tops of the routes get soaked. Other than that though, you're pretty set. If you plan on pitching a tent here, make sure you bring a guyline as the ground is hard as a rock (quite literally). Cheers!
