Hi there,

we came to Korea around 6 months ago and will stay for 3 years.
We climbed around USA, Europe and Germany, where we come from, quite much in the past but our activities decreased hard by becoming a family (2 boys, 3 and 6 years old). Anyway, we are looking for climbers (families), who want to go out with us for a climb and have fun. Or just to get a hint for an outdoor climbing spot, which is usable with kids.

We would be happy for any reply.

Take care / Bis bald

Thanks, Rudi

I've been a member of KOTR, prior to having a family and now after having one. So, in all honesty KOTR is not the most family friendly site, due to most people being childless and living the climber or traveler lifestyle.

But, that being said the site is filled with great info and members who are always willing to help and lend beta based on their experiences...really not much more you could ask for from a climbing site. So, know what your looking for and ask specific questions...you should get some great responses!

My wife and I have a two year old girl and we road trip each weekend with another couple who have two girls 4 and 7. We have a blast and the girls always have fun at the crag, while we're off doing our thing. If your interested in roadtripping down to Daegu or catching up with us for a Northern trip, let me know. The more the merrier!

My wife and I climb 10's and 11s, while our friends are 9's and 10s, so we always go to places with a wide range, as well as the occasional 5.7, so the girls can give it a try..when there not catching tadpoles or playing with snakes.

Good luck and enjoy Korea!

Sorry for my delayed response. We have to move to Seoul in a week. I is a quite odd story.
Anyway, bhylenski thanks for your information. I already guessed that most of the KOTR members are childless. But it seems my try worked, anyway.

As more stumble on this thread, as better to meet others.

Climb save.
