Well, it was my first outing 2 weeks ago on the wet rocky slabs of Insubong. The rocks were basically covered with sheets of water and my pack leader was just as jailhouse nutty as I was. We went right up to the top and if the new girl can do it, trust me, none of the macho experienced climbers would lose face enough and go back.
Got bloody, bruised and scratched up like I just got jumped by a street cat from Hell. But oooooh my, my, I believe I am hooked.
Last week I went to Ganyeon. Ahhhh, the smell of sweaty half-naked men in the misty morning air. Couldn't be more perfect. It was cloudy and the water beneath was cool to the touch. And I be a smart little lady and brought along my bathing suit. Mind you, I was the only one splashing around in a bikini top which didn't escape the locals' attention lemme tell ya.
Got a little sun and all went well, except somebody seemed to mistaken the showers for the jon and took a pooh in the drain.
BTW, there's a great outdoor climbing wall in Incheon. If you've got the gear, get thee to the wall. I'll be there this weekend and every coming Wednesday evening. 010-6873-0701
