This is my best guess on how I make. I just throw stuff in, so adjust it to your own tastes.
1 cup cooked chickpeas
2 Tablespoons tahini (if you don't have any, use some sesame seed oil and a bit more water)
a table spoon olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1-2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon chile powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-3 tablespoons water (enough so that it bleends)
Put is all in a blender and blend.
