climbing in seoul during the week

hi , is anyone around in seoul that would like to climb at one of the outdoor walls.... ttukseom, eungbong..... in the evenings after 5 during the week M-F?

Hi Dan,
I'm staying in Seoul for the until May 4th and am keen to get in as much climbing as possible.
I'm a new climber with mostly top rope indoor experience but if you're still keen I'm up for it.
Don't know the places you mentioned but can't imagine I'll have any trouble getting there. I'm staying near Wangshimni. (I only have shoes, chalk and harness)

hey dan, not sure about where you live in seoul. i live on line 2 by sillim stn and regularly climb at the wall in boramae park. now that the weather is nice, it's open quite late..and will stay open even later soon. it's a pretty fun wall. there are only a couple of regular foreigners (3 including me) but everyone is really friendly. if you ever want to give it a go, let me know. otherwise i'd like to try out ttuksum sometime..but it's a bit of a trek for me out that way..

I would like to join...
Unfortunately I don't know the mentioned places, but I don't have any problems with traveling. I live in Chungmuro ( line no. 3 or 4)
I am almost free every afternoon.
I have only shoes because my luggage to Korea was too heavy and I couldn't take more. If you know about any cheap harness or some possibility how to borrow one ( for the time that my own will come by post) let me know please.

Think Ty was saying that Boramae supply all the gear you need to climb. (Ty - can you confirm?)
I plan to get out there on Wed night. No details as yet but I guess we'll be meeting at Sillim station sometime after 6.

to anybody that's interested in climbing wednesday (15th) at boramae park..
let's try to meet at sillim station between 6.15-6.30pm. it's a short walk to the park. if you can't make it at that time, sindaebang station (line 2) is a little closer to the park (or boramae stn line 7) and we can just meet at the wall.

if you've never been to the park, finding the wall is pretty simple. at one end of the park are some tall, new buildings. when in the park, face the buildings. the wall will be on your right hand side all the way in the southwest corner of the park (pretty close to the tall buildings right next to the x-games park)

they have harnesses, shoes and ropes all included in the 5,000won fee.

I'm down for some climbs! I'm at songtan so a train ride up is no problem. I have a couple guys I work with that might be interested also- only thing is I have off on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe we can work something out for a small meet at Boramae park for those in the Seoul area.
