Gloves? That's right, gloves. I have been the very hapy beneficiary of a pair of these given to me by a "climbergrrrl", and what a difference they make.
The gloves feel very sticky both inside and out, making it super easy to grip tools ice climbing without pumping out. You can also shake out for all you are worth with no fear of the gloves slipping off. Surprisingly these thin rubbery feeling gloves are actually quite warm....even when soaked wet I never got the frozen craw syndrome, and felt comfortable in them all day long. They may not be great when doing ice climbing in Alaska or in really super cold areas, but if you are leashles I think your hands stay a lot warmer due to better circulation and movement anyways. Have a secong set of trad gloves for belaying if you like. They aren't water-proof, but a squeeze/ wringing gets most water out and they are good to go again. The look may be a bit funky for some folks, but you can live with the skeletor look I s'pose.
Priced at about 30-40,000won a pair here in Korea, trhey aren't cheap, but not too expensive either.

Do you know if you can get these in Black Yak shops?

Cheers!

You know, actually I dunno....but I would guess so. They are pretty popular gloves here (ice -sport climbing is the big thing), and I've seen them in many small shops too. If you are having trouvble getting them lemme know and I'll get a pair for you and post 'em up. Be advised; these are not super warm gloves, for keeping hands warm on belays or walk-ins etc use something thicker etc. These are just for climbing time, when they are amazingly comfy and sticky.
