Incredible!! What an awesome weekend all around. It was great to meet so many new people and see familiar faces as well. Yongseo was a bit dry, but awesomely beautiful. The perfect weather must have helped: KOTR looked strong and everytime I looked up (or across!), there we were! I haven't climbed so much in awhile. . .

Photos under fun photos and area photos (Yongseo Pokpo) and on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=56904&l=04c92&id=529077539). (Maybe others could link their facebook albums too. . . there are quite a few!)

Beth, thanks for bearing with me Friday and helping as much as possible with the phone! Christine, good to see you looking chilled, relaxed and getting in a lot of routes. Mike, Ana-- y'all also looked strong and pulled off some nice moves! Dale. . . good to have an extra geared-up belayer around!! Will-- glad you made it and nice lead. . . hope my photos came out . . . you're getting to Korea's best places and here what, not even a month?! Min-jung, glad you could make it-- and thanks for all of your help with the interview and all. Wish you could have stayed longer. Charissa, good to see you too, if only for a day. . . you certainly did your part as belay slave! Coco, an amazing debut! You need to hook up with Will or other Daegustas. . . get to a gym and get gear shopping! I'll be passing through Daegu at some point next next week probably. . . might be willing to make a stop for day climbing at Uksugol if y'all're up for/can schedule mid-week early or late? Charlie, good to meet you and thanks for the hospitality! It worked out well this AM. Wes, nice to meet you to, thanks for the belays on some stellar routes! Alec (with a 'c')-- awesome onsight of the 12b! Les, always good to see you! And Greg (are you on KOTR?!) thanks for the help, the food etc! Good to see you again! I hope I am not forgetting anyone!

Finally, it was really amazing how nicely dinner came together. . . considering it was all from scratch!! Everyone found something to do and I think it was as smooth as could be (what 4 stoves?!), almost assembly line smooth!-- and incredibly delicious. . . if the min-bak folks want to take a vacation, KOTR could take over for a weekend! Super-duper thanks for the clean-up crew who snuck off with dirty dishes and returned with the clean. . . and of course, it wouldn't have been the same without the beer/wine-runners. . . but a whole bottle left over. . . that explains the awesome climbing! Good energy. . . good vibe. . . all around!!

Hope to see y'all in Donghae next weekend, and at Kanhyon (I just can't bring myself to spell it with a 'G'-- standardization be damned!) for Halloween!!

Agreed, Yongseo lived up to its beautiful reputation yet again, but it could never be so good without such a sweet crew. KOTR has been leaking some good friends lately but fortunately (and more to the point) it seems to be gaining solid compadres even faster. A real pleasure meeting each new face this weekend.

I managed to lose track of Charlie's small silver flashlight on saturday night. If anyone has seen it please let me know. See you next time.

Yes, it was a sterling effort from all involved. The Lentil feast was nothing short of world class.

Massive respect to both Coco for nailing out 5.8's with aplomb and Min Jung for her negotiating/averting near disaster skills.

Alec's role as champion for canine rights and improptu animal interaction workshop (In Korean!) on Saturday night was also as awesome as his free climbing attempt on a horrific aid route on Sunday. Hats off to that man.

It was great to meet you all again. Look forward to seeing everyone at halloween! Having a bit of a fallow weekend next week but if anyones up for some daegu action I might host something.
