I've heard from fellow bikers that forest rangers patrol dobongsan and give fines to bikers. Watch for no biking signs!!

i have a lot of free time, but usually my weekends are devoted to climbing...however, i may be able to be convinced of the need to stick around and go into the mountains on a bike, rather than my own two feet.^^ weekdays are often best for me, especially now that school's out for the summer!^^ let me know when you ride (and where you are) and i'll try to get back to you to set up a time...

that's too bad about dobongsan...i didn't know that. they weren't giving fines the last time i went there, as far as i know, although we were on the backside, not the main trails of the park. however, our group of bikers did get yelled at by one very irate and, as far as i'm concerned, totally anal 아저씨. our bikers were being very polite to all the hikers and careful to not bike past them or even get too close to them. if we ever wanted to do a downhill run, we posted scouts to make sure that the way was clear and were very friendly to the hikers and expressed our thanks to the ones who waited for us to bomb our runs.^^ everyone except afore-mentioned 아저씨 was really kind and friendly...they were even cheering us on! oh well, hopefully there are still some places that are open...the trails were fun!
