traffic next weekend

anyone have good beta on how bad the traffic will be next monday afternoon???

want to go to seonunsan but do not want to spend 8+ hours coming back on monday.

any info from last year or other 3 day holiday welcome. cheers

Good point! I've endured some traffic nightmares after Chusok (the record being a 10+ hour trip back to Seoul from Sununsan. After other holidays, though, the difference from any ordinary Sunday has been barely noticeable.

In any event, a timely reminder, especially for those without cars-- go home Tues AM id you can, and book the bus/train in advance. The 10 hour ride was 6 years and how many tens of thousands of more cars have been added?!

traffic is gonna be crazy( at least it was the last two years) there are a bunch of us going there anyways cause its worth it!!! we will be camping below the hostel if ya wanna come say hi.
