View Full Version : KOTR's First Meet & Greet June 11th
A few days ago Jamie (jamiermt (http://www.koreaontherocks.com/profile.php?uid=135)) contacted me to see if I was interested in using his bar in Seoul to have a party for the members of KOTR. I jumped on the idea.
So the first Meet & Greet for Korea's foreign rock climbers will be June 11th (Saturday) at 4pm at the Rocky Mountain Tavern in Itaewon.
Everyone is invited. The more climbers, the better. It's a great chance to find some new partners or hang out with some old ones.

Please use this thread to RSVP so we know how many people to expect.

Getting to the RMT.
Itaewon Stn. Walk straight out of exit 3(burger King). Walk a block past the fire stn. We're on the main street 2nd floor So we are pretty hard to miss.
If you cant find it just give me a call my number is on the ad.

I assume this meeting will be going for awhile. I can't make it there until about 7 so, if you think stuff will still be happening at that time then I'm in.
im sure the party will last into the wee hours. we might change locations after a few hours so if you take down my and jamie's numbers you'll be able to figure out where we are.

I'd like to come, i've been here a month and feel really lazy. As in my legs feel as though they've got atrophy.
I have a semi crappy schedule and would love to talk to people willing to go climbing.

It was cool to meet everyone at the RMT on Saturday, and especially to hang out at Eungbong with some enthused climbers on Sunday (even if you were all super-late in getting to the subway station!:). Thanks for making it out so "early". ~~ Hope to see you all again.
Jamie, again, that poutine is awesome, just can't say it enough! Good luck with the climbing!

so was I the only one at the station at 9 ?? I thought we all musta been super keen and I had missed the boat, heh heh heh, ah well there's always next time :-)
Great get together folks, was good to meet some people, thanks also from me to Jamie and Eric for the work they put in.
