Training areas near Indeogwan

Heya, I will be living in Indeogwan(down south of Seoul on Blue line)for the next 12 months, and am looking for a wall or bouldering area for training during the week. Any suggestions or hot tips will be hugely appreciated!

the closest i know is eungbong in seoul. someone else may have other info. i climb at eungbong alot if you want to hook up. cheers

Indeogwan is in Anyang, right? Actually, a new bouldering gym just opened near Geumjang St. It's called Camp 4 bouldering gym, or something like that. I just started going there recently, and have been waiting to post until I could find directions from Seoul or someplace in Anyang. (I'm from Yongin, that doesn't seem to help others much in terms of directions.)

Anyway, first drop-in is free, after that each drop-in is 6,000 won. Month-long membership is 60,000 won. The climbers are very kind and helpful, many of them are involved with Kolon climbing school, and are quite knowledgeable and well-rounded climbers.

I'll try to find you a website or something soon. It's close to the Kolon building and Technotown, if that helps at all? Also, there is a small mountain nearby that has some short, but good climbs. Very bouldery sport climbs.

The gym is very close to the mountain. I'll try to find out more info tonight. It's a great gym, one of the best bouldering centers I've been to.

Just posted directions under the "gyms" forum on this website for Camp 4 Sports Climbing Center near Indeogwan St. in Anyang. I recommend giving it a look as it sounds like it's really close to Indeogwan St.

Also recommend clicking on the URL to check out the center's website. There are some pics of the gym there. Hope this helps!

If you are having trouble finding it, let me know. I climb there almost every MWF evening, although I won't be there this Friday. There is a phone number posted with the gym description also. Or, you can reach me at 016-9223-1369, if you want.
