July in Thailand?

Heading to Thailand and Indonesia for part of my break. If anyone is wanting to boulder on Ko Tao around July 1st-4/5th or looking for a climbing partner in Railay from around July 5th-10th, give me a shout.

hello,

i am heading to thailand to do my tefl and was planning on heading to krabi in early july, so maybe we could hook up to climb.

just waiting for confirmation on my dates for onward flight to korea...

What sort of level are you? I haven't climbed for a year but was about 6a/6b lead climbing. Not loads of experience outdoors...

Hi Adam,

I guess I'm around 6a/6a+(? - 5.10b/c). I have climbed up to 6b+(? - 5.11a), but it's been awhile since I was climbing and training hard.

Hopefully the next month of steady training will pay off...^^ It would be cool to see you there. Don't care too much about where I climb, there's so much fantastic stuff, but I really want to try and get Aonang Tower in this time.

Y'all -
Have you heard of Rai Leh and Ton Sai? They're on the west coast of the Thai mainland, across from Phi Phi Don Island. GREAT climbing. Amazing! I'd give just about anything to go back. Fly into Phuket and boat or taxi to Krabi or Ao Nang. Long boat to Rai Leh. Places to stay from $3/night. It's hot this time of year, but great morning and evening cimbing. Don't know if I could swing a trip, but I'll sure try!

Thanks for the info. I guess that we're talking about the same places, but using different spelling. Sorry! I don't tend to separate my syllables when I am writing the names, but I'll check the common spellings. :)

Wow, life is good here in Thailand. In three days I head to Koh Tao to do some bouldering. I will be there for about a week starting June 30th, then off to Railay around July 6th or 7th, where I will stay until July 18th. Hope to see someone out there, but whatever you all do, have a great summer, alright?
