I am looking for a new pair of scarpa shoes when I hit Korea in two weeks, anyone got any idea where I can find them? I know Korea has a scarpa outlet somewhere in seoul.

Your best bet is just to poke your head (and feet) into some of the dozens and dozens (yeah like maybe 50-80) gear stores at the base of Bukhansan National Park in Ui-dong North Seoul (it's where you go for bouldering, trad, slab, crack etc in the Insubong Climbing area). It's the park entrance and various busses stop right there so check out the directions here:

Even if you are 200% illiterate in Korean you should be able to find this climbers shopping delight. Search around and bargain a bit.

OK, will do. I won't be far from Bukhansan by bus, so I'll check it out. thanks very much. Shaun
