So it all went off very nicely indeed (well apart from that rather epic multi-pitch session that ended about 9.45pm!:eek8: ). KA was really stoked to catch up with the long lost friends and we all dined in the best style. Thanks to Luke and the Wonju crew who kept us up on the latest route beta and lent us a rope. Great to see Brandon get his 1st ever lead too! Awesome mate. Lots of folk each day and lots of good fun. The campfire dance fest (Niccola mate you know who I mean!) was extraordinairily grand and "the Weinbaum factor" added a rather special touch too. Josh, Mae Lin and Kapo were amongst the new faces for me... and I'm sure we all hope to get you out and with us as much as possible.
On a poignant note, it was also the farewell craggin' day to several longtime KOTR stalwarts.:wave: :Cry:
Sigi is off back to South Africa, Mike (tattoo Mike) is soon shipping over to Japan and finally Paul and MiSeon are off to start anew in Canada!

It was definitely one of the best weekends I've ever had. The weather, the people, the climbing were perfect. I met tons of new people, and I became a huge fan of Sigi's musical talents (all too late I'm afraid). Can't wait to do it again.

Korea will really miss Sigi and Mike :( we'll watch for Sigi's CD. . . maybe something Korea-inspired?
