Hope that's the correct spelling, I mean Korea's number one mountain in Gangwon-do. I have 11 days off in May and want any hints on a spectacular multi day walk and where to stay and the best access point. A circuit walk would suit best but point to point is OK too.
cheers

Hey man check out the threads in this link.

A lotta good info there, and if you get onto isipau's links there are some top maps. Seoraksan/ Seolaksan/ Soraksan (many different transliterations) is a sweet trekking place. Closer to you might be Jirisan/ Chirisan which has good hike routes that can take 4-5 days. Both are great and different in style.
Damn! I wish I had 11 days off in May!

What days do you have off? I have 9 days off and would like to go somewhere.

I have from the 3rd until the 12th inclusive, maybe the long weekend is best avoided and I'll go during the week to hopefully avoid the crowds. I want to go back to Jirisan but that's not so far away and seeing I have a good break I might as well go somewhere new
