Hi All,

The public school education office that I work for (located in the town of Yeongam (영암), Jeollanamdo province (절라남도), South Korea). Have asked me to help them find a capable ESL teacher. They would like this teacher to operate a newly built and very well equipped foreign language centre, attached to an elementary school in the nearby village of Seoho (서호).

Employer: Yeongam Public Education Office
Salary: 2.3 Million Won plus own apartment
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm (Mon-Fri)
1st & 3rd Saturday of the month
Annual Vacation: Jul-Aug Summer Break 8 weeks
Jan - Feb Winter Break 8 weeks
(but you will have to teach for 2 weeks during both the
summer and winter vacation periods. The rest of the time is
essentially paid leave)
Contract Length: 1 year (with an option to recontract yearly)
Teaching Levels: Elementary School Grades 3 - 6
Middle School Grades 1 - 3

Small (population 10724)
Quiet country town
Surrounded by small farms and rice fields
Located adjacent to Wolchulsan National Park (5 mins by bus)
Awesome sport and trad climbing routes in Wolchulsan
Fantastic climbing gym nearby (5 mins by taxi)

Farmers market held every five days of the month starting on the 5th.
