So it looks like a KOTR crew has surreptiously hatched a grand plan to be strappin' on the spiked heels and wend their merry way down to Yeong Dong for a wee bit of ice climbing. Not wanting others kept in the dark and out of touch with the skinny on the street of what's going down vis-a-vis upcoming trips, I confess I felt morally obligated to bring to light such dark plans. not to be a buzz kill for this but you should get in touch with the wall manager. a korean friend of mine told me the conditions would be un safe this coming weekend for Yeong Dong.

Nah, thanks Mike. I'll check tomorrow and again on Friday. Weather has been freezing and snowing a bit here, but...always best to be forewarned. Maybe people better make a "plan B" just in case.

OK well afte a check with the local crew it seems that Yeong Dong should be open and busy as usual. It has been super cold all week here, so the ice should be there. One last update tomorrow evening (Friday evening) about 7pm.
