OK so the hangovers should be fading and the muscles not too frozen. So before we get too lost in the cloaking folds of a Korean winter, remember KOTR is still about. Indoor climbing is still on, winter hikes and alpin-ish routes doable, ice-climbing, skiing, snowboarding and even climbing free meet and greeting! It's all possible folks.
Well before too long someone will say, "Hey lets do another Meet and Greet". Spring is the traditional time to do it, but the Hell with tradition. Anytime is good. Old-timers may remember the KOTR red and blue flag. Eric has it in Canada, so why don't we (shock, horror!) make a new one BEFORE the spring climbing season?
Again anyone who has design skills could offer a character/ cartoon logo design thing too. Everyone else in the ROK has one.
Please send Sonia articles and good quality photos of climbing in the ROK. Short pieces, reflections, stories, epics, interviews, whatever. She is making THAT guide book, and has probably contributed more to KOTR than everyone else combined!
Tees, Tees, Tees! The girls had a vexed time trying to get a feminine KOTR Tee made (I well sympathize...fingers crossed). So give some thought to what you would want in a future KOTR tee. Maybe you don't want anymore tees...how about a KOTR cap? a KOTR buff? a KOTR lighter? KOTR bumper stickers? Think now and be ready to contribute.
Lonely, don't know anyone, sick of seeing threads and doggerel from old timer hacks like me? POST your own rubbish.
Update that profile.
Happy New Year and all the best.
