Just wanted to say thanks to Lindsey and her host family. Not only did they put me up on Fri., and Sat., there was free Korean B-fast included that was delicious. Maisan is a very cool place that is well suited for any sport climber that is looking to looking to lead. It's scenic and we were the only one's out there. No waiting in lines! Probably thanks to the half dozen ropes we had out there. Most of the lower end climbs are fun and juggy. Thanks to all that made it out. Just proof that climbers on KOTR are a cool crowd. Look forward to linking up with you guys again.

Also, big thanks to Stu for driving the Mokpo crew up, Rick for directions, and James for making the wicked-long trip down!

Thanks to Lindsey for getting the ball rolling and organizing this weekend, and everyone for coming, belaying. . . everyone had something to share, from James diagnosing over dinner to Corey's amazing lunch! What a turnout for an awesome Dec weekend-- though Nathan and Michelle left early (good to meet y'all). . . and also good to see Ian, though he came a bit late (and had quite the adventure anyway!) great meeting James (as I should always climb with a PA!) and Stu (though our deep conversation resulted in turnoff-missing) and seeing more of Dave. Always good to see Nicola, Maggie, Jessica, Brandon and Terri and Corey!

Too bad most of y'all missed Opera House-- we were high and dry Sunday, though a little cold on the debut climb. I am happy to report there are now 3 5.10s at Opera House, though they do make the 5.10 climbs at Al Bawi seem very 5.9! Lee Jong-ju, who I met at Dongnae Gym in Busan, was out with a Jinju crew on Sunday-- Yum Hong-mu and Jo Hyun-il-- quite the power trio ang great guys! Corey and I (and Ian!) got to practice some Korean!

Woo-hoo!

I just wanted to put my thanks in as well. Lindsey, you sure can make a great sales pitch to get so many out on a cold December day! I had a great time there and hope to make it out again... maybe when it's a bit warmer.

Photos are up on my flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/goulash/sets/72157603363071891/) site if ya wanna check them out...

Awwww shucks you guys are great :o I also had a WONDERFUL time, I really enjoyed everyone's company, seeing "old friends" (as old as they can be given that I have only been here five months) and meeting new ones.

Sorry about the rain on Sunday... thanks everyone for coming, you are welcome back any time!
