COOL Maps (in Korean)

So maybe I am slow with virtual maps, but I just discovered http://maps.naver.com/
a useful website for finding places in Korea, but it's only in Korean. . . still if you have basic reading and writing skills you might find it of use!! You can search by landmarks, business names, addresses. . .

does it know my IP?!?! I clicked on it and it automatically showed me Mokpo! (I can't get much further than that, though, apparently my vocabulary doesn't qualify as 'basic')

it can be really picky with the "name" of a place: 전주시 객사 for Gaeksa, the landmark old guesthouse downtown. Everything pretty much needs a city before it and the complete formal name: 전주시 전북대학교, 전주시 롯데백화점 for Lotte Department Store, 전주시 한신코아아파트 for HanShinCoa Apartments. . .

It may know your IP, but you probably should add a 목포시 if it's in Mokpo. . .
