Advice for a friend

I have one thing to ask you.
I want to buy some quickdraws.
I found one store here in Fargo.
And I only have one choice which is Black Diamond.
Also I found Black Diamond has 3 different types of quickdraws.

One is that the biner gate is fully covered like normal quickdraws that we can see in Korea.
Another one is the gate is wire which I've never seen anyone use it.

And the middle sling part also has two kinds.
One is thin and another is a little thick like normal quickdraw.
Price is pretty much similar.

Wiregate draws (I like them and use them alongside solid-gates) are a bit easier to clip sometimes, as they generally weigh less. There's virtually no degradation of strength, as the carabiner's load is along its spine.

Given my druthers, though, I'd probably go with a wider dogbone just because it's that much more confidence-inspiring.

Sorry I had post that message so fast. The advice is for my friend, not me "a friend", my "a friend". So no, I'm still in Mokpo, NOT in Fargo. My Korean Friend is studying in Fargo....Why Fargo???? Molla.
I should probably recommend he look on-line for some draws , eh!

Ricky you can cut and paste all that info we recently posted about quickdraws. Likely the thin dogbones are dyneema, the fat ones nylon. Wiregates are great rope end biners and like Brandon, I'm a fan (usually matched with a straight key-lock at the bolt end, except my ice rack, it's pure wiregates there.

What's there to climb in Fargo?! I'd suggest ice screws. . . or x-country skiis!

I have the blackdiamond draws that have wire gates on both ends. I really like them. They're super light.
