Well well well dear readers, it happened that we had a dress rehersal for the M&G yesterday. KA and I linked up with Jerry from Wonju and met in the a.m. at Ganhyeon...his 1st real rock escapades escalades as it were, in way too long - Climbed like a champ nonetheless. Nice work mate! Out of the blue Kris and Jess Galloper-ed in and rope-gunned a few scarier routes for us mortals, meeting and greeting started, as did a highly and unexpectedly restrained eating session (no KA DIDN'T have sam-gyeop-sal/삼겹살), then holey moley Batman, up ambles Pat and Julie! There were ropes and draws and "missing shoes" and belays all over the place. And the fickle skies burned us one second then threatened torrents the next, but the only water was the roaring river below. KA agin snuck in a sneaky 8 routes (in a matter of a few short hours) including a TR-ed 10b, and is talking about maybe leading in the not-too-distant future. Nicole, Amanda and others thanks for inspiring her. But really I just wanted to say, it was just bloody grand running into old friends not seen in awhiles, and putting a person to hitherto pm-only known new friends. Thanks everyone, it was sweet.
