Wonju folks?

Hi, I've just bought some shoes and a harness w/ chalk bag and i NEED to break them in. I did a little climbing at the outdoor wall here in Wonju with one of my student's parents but because of the weather and the fact that the people i have met so far are always busy, i haven't had the chance to go climb! this sucks and winter is around the corner! Anyway this is a shout out to anyone in the Wonju area that would be interested in meeting up to climb. I 'm getting lazy and fat people so i hope someone is out there! ( ax murderers need not apply )

Kyung Ah and I will be up at Ganhyeon this Friday (from 3pm-ish) and Saturday (till about 4pm) IF the weather looks OK. If you can get out, feel free to join us. Same goes for anyone else so inclined, the more the merrier, and get a bit of beta on the Ganhyeon crag before the M&G.

Jerry mate, yep you can bus it to Ganhyeon dead easy from Wonju. The exact info is on the Ganhyun link under search climbs. Just scroll down under "search by name" and click "Ganhyun" (transliterations are so varied on Korean place nemes sorry!). Then all the info pops up. The bus details (courtesy of Sonia) are:
Bus 52 from Wonju Station or Nambu Market (and other stops, though not the bus station) goes to Kanhyon Station. There's a bus stop ib front of the resort as well; busses to Mun-mak, though I don't know the numbers, make infrequent stops there.
As I said, we will be going up IF the weather is OK. It looks likely at this stage, but I'll let you know more certainly tomorrow morning. Call me if you want 010-6488-8733. If you are coming out on Friday you'll need a tent etc, otherwise a bus from Wonju on Sat morn should be only 30minutes I guess.
