once upon a time, there were two desperate climbers. they lived in busan. they were namedamanda and chris (ladies first), and they felt very isolated. though they climbed together quite often, they had no one else to climb with. and that was sad. they began to think there were no other climbers in southern south korea. it was sad. very sad. they had heard rumor of a couple, a couple who climbed rocks, but noting more than rumors. they also heard whispers, whispers of a brit. he could climb romb rock, he could climb ice, but nothing more that that.

OK, the southern folk have been left too lonely for too long. I know it be true. So "gwalinor" how's about putting together another mini- M&G in the south (like last year) for some time in Autumn....Late Oct? It could be Busan, Yongseo, Pohang, Ulsan...etc. Sonia, Ricky, firepink, Amanda, Chris, Brandon, Terri, Lindsey et. al are all down southish and it would be awesome to hit the south again. Just open a new thread, and hey presto people will come. I'll come down too.

quick update, we now have 5 climbers, and 2 or 3 potential beginners.

OK that's more like it! You cats wanna pick a date and place? October is getting busy already with a end of summer bbq climb meet, a possible O2 trip and bouldering galore. Post a new thread under upcoming trips and we'll sign in. Yongseo Pokpo (near Gurye/ SW edge Jirisan) is a sweet place in the south if you want a suggestion.

heavy recruiting going on, i think we are now up to right around 10 climbers. woohoo. today we had a bunch of people climbing with us from ulsan, good times.
