Suggestions for a newbie to Korea?

I'm new to the forum. I will be visiting a friend in Seoul from October 5 - 18. I won't last two weeks without some climbing, so I'd be really grateful for any suggestions of where to go!

hi daniel,

there are a couple of really nice bouldering areas within seoul city limits, there are tons of artificial outdoor walls and gyms, there's trad and sport multi- and single-pitch at insu-bong, and there are some decent crags within an hour and a half train/subway ride from the city.

in addition, there are a fair number of climbers in seoul who would be willing to show you where stuff is (including me :) ), so just say what you want to do and give some of us a shout when you come here...

what kind of illness mandates that someone will perish without climbing within the space of two weeks?...i don't know about anyone else, but that's one condition i wouldn't mind coming down with! ;)
