Does anyone know of a good travel agent or website to find deals on flights to N.America? I've got to head back for a wedding in late October and, of course, want to go as cheap as I can...

Point of related interest: Air Canada - Seoul to Winnipeg approx $2,000CA; Beijing to Winnipeg approx $800CA. How about a cheap route to Beijing?

Maybe I'll just airmail myself...

Thanks.

Hey Scott mate,
Try www.whypaymore.co.kr for cheap flights. It's all in Korean, but not too hard to use. You select departure airport, arrival airport, travel dates and 1 way or return, hit search and BINGO! You get a list by price (cheapest 1st) and if you click on the flight it will show details including Tax due. Good luck!

you might e-mail several of the travel agencies in the English newspapers with your dates and destinations. . . about 6 will generally bring you all the possibilities and you can choose from there. . . book early and stay a little flexible for better prices.

Why on earth would you fly Air Canada? -the most expensive shittiest airline in North America. I suggest you fly to Vancouver with KAL or NWA or JAL and then take westjet to winnipeg. You can probably get cheap flights to Chicago, Detroit, LA, Washington, too. Then just take Delta (also pretty shitty) to Winnepeg. You should have lots of cheap options to Beijing.

Air Canada may be be shitty but they run daily flights from Beijing to Winnipeg for 1100CA (all taxes/charges incl). THose other airlines are all the same price from Seoul to Vancouver and WestJet is almost 500 bucks on top. The problem is that I haven't seen a Seoul-Beijing ticket for less than 290,000 (tax incl)...

whypaymore.co.kr seems to have the cheapest deals. 650,000 Seoul to Vancouver on EVA. I'm going to call tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice.
