Garebi is actually the name of the town located in Uijeongbu. The ice climbing park was previously a quarry and is located just on the outskirts of the small town no more than a few miles. The average length of each fall is roughly twenty-five meters. There are only a few anchors, but plenty of trees to make your own from. All routes are perpendicular from the deck.
Just below the main wall, there is another ice fall roughly ten to fifteen meters in length, too. There are no anchors, however, atop this fall, but plenty of ice to make your ow... [Read More]

There are fixed static abseil lines at the top and to the left, a few bolted anchors and a few trees at the top. Roughly five route lines can be climbed without things getting too hectic.
WI 3~4 depending on the ice and traffic throughout the season.... [Read More]

Climb ice north of the 38th parallel! 60m of vertical ice created by pumping water from the river. A 30m high section on the climber's left. There is a stairway to the top for creating top rope anchors. Pretty far from Seoul so it is a lot less crowded than Pandae. Cool roadblocks on the drive there all set to blow in the event of an invasion.... [Read More]

This is a small wall, about 10-15 meters high and 20 meters wide. The ice on the gently sloping side is thick and solid. On the left hand side there are more interesting features to play around on if the ice is present.
You can fix anchors at the top of the climbs by hiking around the falls. At best 4-5 ropes could be climbed at the same cramped time.... [Read More]
