Climbing Academy
Kangbuk-gu, Suyu 3-dong 134-8
This is Chung Seung Kwan's gym. Mr. Chung is away a bit, leading Koreans up Yosemite Big Walls every year. He has summitted Everest and placed 2nd in ice-climbing in the X-Games, oh in '98 or '99.
He speaks decent English and gives ice-climbing lessons seasonally.

New hours: Monday through Friday, 2pm to 11pm.
Definitely friendly atmosphere--especially once the regulars have seen you a few times.

I just went looking for this place and couldn't find it. Can anyone confirm if it still exists? It looks great, and the prices are pretty good. I'd love to check it out!
