Description
Towangsong is an awesome 320m ice line consisting of a 100m (75-95 deg) lower falls and 150m (90-95 deg) upper falls.

Directions
Buses 7 and 7-1 (900 won) head to Seoraksan from Sokcho. Ride to the end of the line. Enter the park (3,400 won). Cross the river on a bridge near the lower cable car terminal. Follow the trail to Biryongpokpo. This 12m 80deg falls can be bypassed on climbers left via a climbers trail that starts 100m downstream of Biryong falls between two metal bridges. From the top of the falls follow the main drainage up to Towangsong falls. Total approach time from park entrance 1:30.

Safety Concerns
Descent: Rap the route or locate the fixed lines to climbers left of the lower falls.

Towangsong or TowuangSeong translates to "Earthly King Fortress". It is apparently the frozen waterfall in all of East Asia.
