Description
This is a huge gym.
It has a huge indoor Ice Wall that is open year round as well as an indoor climbing area that has both bouldering and lead climbing up to 30-35ft??.
There is also a store with three floors of gear.
10000 Won / Hour for the Ice Wall
10000 Won / Visit for the climbing gym
13000 Won to rent all the Ice Climbing Gear

Directions
Go like you would to get to Insubong. This is one way... Take the light blue line #4 to Suyu Station get off and go the Island in the middle of the street take Bus #120(There are others but this worked well for me) until it comes to the end of the line. This will be Ui dong where you have to get off. Head up hill about a Block and the Kolon O2 store and gym will be on the right. You can go into the store to look at the Ice wall and stuff but to climb you have to go into the basement the office for payment is on the second basement level the climbing areas can be reached by going all the way down. For the Geeks of the group it is VIC N37 Degrees 39.740' E 127Degrees 00.592' if you get to a brick side walk you have gone too far.

I got an email today from Kim Woo-Sun, the director of O2 World.

First of all, he had this to say about O2's name:

So it's wrong to say Kolon Sports-O2 because all facilities and shops in this eight-floor building are managed and owned by one company, O2 World.

He also had this to say about hours and what you can find inside O2 World:

Cafe closes at 10:00 pm, indoor ice climbing gym 9:00 pm, indoor climbing gym 10:00 pm.

On every Tuesday and Thursday evening, there are ice climbing school from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. So general users cannot climb during that time.

First floor shopping center closes at 8:00 pm but closes at 9:00 pm on weekend.

Second and third floor shopping centers close at 8:00 pm.

On the fifth floor, O2 cafe, you can taste excellent coffee such as esspresso, cafe latte and so on dripped by varista. And its panoramic view through window is fantastic, from mountain Bukhan to Mt. Dobong, national park area.

FYI, this Gym is closed for renovation indefinitely (as for 20 May 2009)
*it would have been useful to have this information posted on their website.

Today (Sunday) I went there to climb, really a great place, very nice experienced climber showed us around, equipment can be rented at 5000 won per person (shoes, ropes, carabinier, tube/grigri, it's all there.) There's even a positively inclined granite wall where you can try out leading on some tiny holds. The place has also got a giant heater, which is great on a chilly day.
