Directions
It's on Hanamdae-ro near the intersection of Jukbongdaero. Busses 37, 89, 98 to 공구의거리 stop (across the street and east of the Hyundai gas station) or busses 37, 47, 38, 26, 64, 151 to 제2광천교 stop (just near the Sky Motel). . . if you head N from the motel and take the first right at the big intersection, you should find it.

I will be arriving in Gwangju October 4th, and was wondering whether this was just a bouldering gym, if the club does excursions, and whether the club has a gear store-Thanks!

Price is listed here as 50,000 won. I'm assuming that is a monthly rate. Does anyone know if there is a daily rate and if so, what it is?

Also, is this just bouldering, or are there walls as well? Thanks a lot.

Price has been increased to 60,000W a month. Well worth the incredible company and teachings you can get from the stellar climbers here. Multiple 5.14 climbers at this gym! One of which is a 15 year old!

This place is very poorly marked from the street. It's actually very easy to miss... You really have to know what you're looking for.

Description and directions from a friend:

A small climbing space in a converted apartment. Features challenging, endurance-style bouldering problems. The owner is friendly and speaks some English.

The GICC is on the same road as Mudeung Baseball Stadium. If you're coming from the east, you'll pass the stadium on your left. The GICC will be a little ways down on the left (south) side of the road.

There is a glass door with a sign for the climbing center. It's a bit inconspicuous, so look carefully. It's before the large intersection with an overpass.

Inside the glass door, go up the flight of stairs; you will see paintings of trees and mountains, then climbing posters and other climbing paraphernalia outside the door to the gym.

These directions are quite confusing. Perhaps I'm the only one having difficulty following them, but I cannot find this place. Is there anyone who is currently climbing here that can help me out?

take a bus to Mudeung Stadium Entrance. Make sure you are on the south side of the street. walk toward the highway overpass. before the overpass, look on your left for a glass door that says "Mudeung Climbing Gym" as in the listed picture above.
A lot of times the glass door is propped open, making the sign hard to see, so check every door. Go up the stairs to the top and you'll find it. it's a pretty small bouldering room but busy operation. good luck

The gym has recently moved and the new location and new information has been adjusted! Thanks to Steve for the heads' up and new navigational photos!
