Ace Climbing center

Basement Gym with cut out in the roof with some short lead or top rope problems. It has a cave in the center and most of the walls are overhung, but there is a "beginner" area. The people are nice and some of them speak a little english. I've seen everything from beginner lessons to a core of very strong regulars who justify the overhung conditions. There variety of training gear, from weights to fingerboards, though much of it is hung upside down or on inclines. It gets VERY hot in here in the summer months.
Coaching is available for a... [Read More]

10 meters wide X 15 meters high, the main wall overhangs 110-135 degrees. There is a shorter, almost vertical wall on the side, so beginners need not be too intimidated.... [Read More]

Boramae Park Climbing Wall
|
|
|
15 meters high: slightly-less than vertical, vertical, overhanging and near-roof routes. Boramae was one of 8 parks in Seoul to be renovated with climbing walls and other public use facilities as part of a city wide parks master plan.
The wall is gated, and unlike many walls you can join this one or pay a W1000 use fee.
Looks almost the same as Danggogae, but the roof covers a wee bit more on top.
Open 10:00-21:00.
There is a W1,000 per-use fee (memberships available) and a liability waiver to be signed (in Korean, of course).... [Read More]
